What looks most like LA to you?

Who's this livin la vida loca con redistricting commissioner Mike Trujillo? I know, not telling though. But it looks like LA to me.

Compare that photo to this one, of...

..mayoral candidate Austin Beutner (you can almost see him) speaking to Valley Vote people at...wait for it...Galpin Ford. Looks like an AARP meeting to me...

Also. Felipe Fuentes is running for Richard Alarcon's seat, CD 7. No surprise, although it fits Kevin James' theory about Assemblymembers running for City Council. Is Mike Gatto next?

As I mentioned, Jan Perry got Greig Smith's endorsement, which keeps her in the game for a few more weeks but is pretty much worthless south of Chatsworth and I believe worthless to LA as a whole. Unless Smith's engagingly bizarre book suddenly takes off. BTW, the book is...great!

And yes, Eric Garcetti joined everyone else and put up a PayPal screen complete with tip jar.

The people in the photo, who make Garcetti look like an even fresher face, are likely also supposed to resemble homeowners. Well, homeowners braving rheumatism, anyway. But if you click around for content, how is it that Rebecca Chambliss--with no years as a politician behind her--has more political content up at her website than Eric Garcetti--with a decade of political life behind him--has it his?
