San Pedro GOP operative and Joe Buscaino backer John S. Stammreich is not the only obsessive tweeter stuck on Rebecca Chambliss's candidacy in CD 15. Firefighter Frank Lima has gone gaga at Twitter for Chambliss as well.
In a series of blistering tweets, Capt. Lima says that Chambliss's "priority is not truck 38," that he "just got off a 24 hour platoon shift yesterday" and asks "what have u done to support us?" "Our union informed the public...how about u?" he taunts.
If the name rings a bell, Lima was the captain who in 2007 won a big payout against the City of Los Angeles when he claimed pain and suffering and heart problems as a result of his involvement in making sure women firefighter candidates were held to the same physical job requirements standards as men.
The Times called Lima's suit "the latest bizarre court case involving the Los Angeles Fire Department" at the time of the jury's judgment. Council signed off on a payout to Lima in 2009, voting 10-0 to pay Lima a whopping $4.8 million--even more than the jury's award.
Also, the harassing tweeter who published and then deleted a tweet including Chambliss's home address over the weekend has been identified as Elisabeth Vuoso, who is listed at Buscaino's website as an endorser of Buscaino.
UPDATE: One Noel Vuoso takes "credit" for posting Chambliss's home address at Twitter.
