Street-hassle has learned that longtime City lobbyist and land use attorney Bill Delvac has left Latham & Watkins to join land use and CEQA specialists Armbruster & Goldsmith.
The firm will be newly constituted as Armbruster Goldsmith & Delvac. Active clients already at Armbruster & Goldsmith include Century City View, the Campbell School, Dakota Enterprises, Gilmore Associates, Las Lomas Land Company, Legacy Partners, Occidental College, and Thomas Properties.
The firm already boasts of at least six city lobbyists, including Aaron Clark, Dale Goldsmith, Jonathan Riker, Mark Armbruster, Matt Dzurek and RJ Comer.
Delvac was California Lawyer's land use attorney of the year in 2007. His efforts to preserve St. Vibiana's in 1995 led to the siting of the present Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels.
